In this text the ‘sweet essence’ of vedānta is distilled.
The word appears in the title of a famous text on non-duality by Lakṣmidhara Kavi, called Advaita Makaranda:
It consists of 28 striking verses. Verse two is immediately a highlight that shows the crux of vedānta: ‘Never am I not loved (as self)’.
