That is why Hira&#7751;yagarbha&#7717; is known as s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i sthiti laya kart&#257;.<\/p>\n<p>There are no separate things that are ever created or destroyed. The universe and all that is here is a manifestation in the form of names and forms (n&#257;ma r&#363;pam) of <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_83128227b16aac1b6bfb6f291b8da541\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">Brahman<\/span> himself. It does not take place outside of Brahman, since there is only Brahman, pure consciousness.<\/p>\n<p>In time, it becomes unmanifested in Brahman and is re-manifested (appears) in Brahman in an beginningless, endless cycle. Brahma kh&#257;lu idam sarvam (Ch&#257;ndogya 6.2.1), all this is certainly Brahman. Iha n&#257;n&#257; ki&ntilde;cana n&#257;sti (B&#7771;had&#257;ra&#7751;yaka 4.4.19), There is no multiplicity (there is no plurality or variety here).<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the word creation is ultimately not the accurate translation of s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i. Nothing is created, nothing is born (ajati). The s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i is a manifestation of the potential, unmanifested state of <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_055ac1a39e432096ade678b5bdf1ebf9\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">m&#257;y&#257;<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The beginningless, endless cycle of sa&#7745;s&#257;ra is not an act of the will of Brahman. The universe manifests itself only to lawfully fulfill the pr&#257;rabdha <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_1efd8a68595c4bfeb5794e580ebde15b\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">karma<\/span> of countless jivas.<\/p>\n<p>In order to exempt yourself from this, it makes sense to distinguish between <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_ef33f6364e53ef11f6744d2b4caab080\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">&#299;&#347;vara<\/span> s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i and <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_0cbcdcdf0dd0a97caeb0937f684b53d1\"  data-mobile-support=\"0\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>j&#299;va<\/span> s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i. &#298;&#347;vara s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i is the total, neutral manifestation-creation of the divine as all power, all knowledge. The transactional reality that this produces is called <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_81a6885e51d4dc5c28c135caea462c83\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">vy&#257;vah&#257;rika satya<\/span>. Just as there is only one consciousness, there is also only one cosmic event.<\/p>\n<p>To be pure <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_7ec08bebb08aaa1aa65a1818a7c6f02b\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">mok&#7779;a<\/span> (freedom), you as an individual must first reasonably connect to this objective level. This is the qualification <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_c8646e39455fcd14a19fc947c5429dc6\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">vairagya<\/span> (without binding desires). You do this with devotion and surrender through practices such as <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_700a684919a457f8bf53ad738253d1d9\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">karma yoga<\/span> (dedicating actions to &#299;&#347;vara) and <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_d7707932000a818a2f18c43a5677447f\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">up&#257;sana yoga<\/span> (meditating on &#299;&#347;vara). Only the one who lives to contribute can shift his self-image from the small me, to the complete, infinite self. Only then does the aspirant&rsquo;s mind for freedom become calm and balanced and fit for true self-knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, J&#299;va s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i is the subjective, individual creation in our mind, based on personal likes and dislikes, judgments and interpretations. Every individual looks at the world differently. This subjective, fantasy experience is the most distant from the completely neutral brahman and is called <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_ab80f182fe842755962e1c2a7e1ca3c8\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">pr&#257;tibh&#257;sika satya<\/span>. Because an individual lives in a subjective creation of fears and desires, he keeps the manifestation going.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, in these terms, the road to freedom runs from j&#299;va s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i through &#299;&#347;vara j&#299;va s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i to no s&#7771;&#7779;&#7789;i. This third level is called <span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_29c475c8268c9ccf43ce5a10edeb2dab\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">p&#257;ram&#257;rthika satya<\/span>, literally the reality (<span class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Short\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_50b4e15855b6dbdbb4de420778831283\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">satya<\/span>) beyond or before (p&#257;ram) to all goals (&#257;rthika).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The source and origin of these three states is hira\u1e47yagarbha\u1e25.
